Procurement \/ Inventory Specialist

Description:
Our Client Is Currently Seeking A Procurement / Inventory Specialist. Preferred Candidates Must Have Previous Procurement and Logistics/Warehouse Exposure. This job will have the following responsibilities: Identify key suppliers to enhance and develop ongoing relationshipsHandle stock and customer orders on a daily basis.Monitor inventory turns.Understand supplier return policies and procedureAudit price accuracy across branches.Regularly review outstanding stock, customer, and backorders.Identify and report vendor promotions Plan and audit cycle counts.Schedule and lead annual physical inventories.Conduct an audit of price accuracies.Conduct a daily review of negative on-hand inventory.Regularly train site staff in proper inventory control techniques and best practices. Qualifications & Requirements: BS Degree preferred, BUT not limited 4+ years experience in a logistics/procurement environment Must be able to be self disciplined Great negotiation skills Strong ERP knowledge Excellent pricing, cycle count, inventory control experience Must be ok with working on-siteWilling to learn with a positive attitude
