As a Process Engineer you will: : Ensure that production methods are optimised in terms of safety, food safety and efficiency, accounting for current and new products and technologies. : Take ownership for the quality, reliability, and throughput capability of all food processing equipment. : Lead operational process set: up and improvement. : Lead the development and maintenance of operational procedures and instructions. : Adopt and promote lean processes and continuous improvement initiatives. We are keen on speaking to people about this Process Engineer opportunity who have the following skills and experience: : Degree qualified, or equivalent experience in an engineering or operational discipline. : Strong working knowledge of Lean manufacturing and/or Six Sigma improvement methodology. : Project management experience. : Working knowledge of tools such as Mat Lab and Excel. : Have had training in Level 3 Food Safety / IOSH Managing Safely / HACCP Level 3 / Allergen training / Foreign body prevention training / Internal auditor experience of a recognised standard. : Able to work in a controlled chilled factory environment. In return you will receive a salary of up to GBP 60,000 pa depending on experience.
