Process Design ConsultantBCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Process Design Consultant for an opportunity in Newark, DEPosition Title: Process Design ConsultantLocation: Newark, DEExpected Duration: 12+ monthsTentative Start Date: ASAPPay Rate: $95/hr on W2Description:These positions are for a highly competent Business Continuity Consultant with experience in Technology Resiliency Planning and Testing to join our dynamic technology resiliency team. This candidate will work within the Global Technology Resiliency & Business Continuity (GRBC) Planning and Testing Operations team and play a crucial role in helping Bank of America manage and reduce technological risk and maintain regulatory compliance within our technology resilience planning and testing programs.Required SkillsNonfunctional design architecture - capacity, scalability, performanceKnowledge of full stack build techniques, automation, and data protectionAbility to assimilate information and work with up to four distinct and potentially unrelated services, each with 2 - 20 critical applicationsTechnology architecture or equivalent.*Experience in developing and managing technology resiliency & recovery plans and testing standards, policies, and process and procedure documents*Knowledge of technology systems application and data protection techniques, system rebuild and data recovery or reconstruction capabilities and testing techniques*Demonstrated ability partnering with and providing expert-level advice to business partners with complex recovery and resiliency requirements*Ability to learn and adapt quickly*Highly organized, ability to simultaneously prioritize tasks and handle numerous time-sensitive issues*Identifies linkages and thinks "enterprise" across business lines and geographies*Embraces and drives changes*Proactively takes a leadership role to ensure team success*Drives positive energy across the team*Analytical/strong attention to detail*Proficient Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, & Outlook skills*Strong written & verbal communication skills*Strong meeting facilitation skillsDesired Skills*7+ years of technology resilience planning and testing or equivalent.*Experience in failure analysis and contingency planning and testing*Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.Leadership Competencies*Strong strategic mindset*Strong risk mindset with process and controls background*Actively debate and escalate issues and concern*Demonstrated understanding of internal control discipline and operational excellence*Effective partnering and relationship management skills applying a collaborative mindset*Strong analytical, logical reasoning and problem solving skillsStrong project-managementBenefits: BCforward offers all eligible employees a comprehensive benefits package including, but not limited to major medical, HSA, dental, vision, employer-provided group life, voluntary life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, and 401k.
