The Position: Rare opportunity to join our team as a Process Control Manager in our Steel Mill! Responsibilities: Develop melt profiles for chemical and electrical energy Coordinate outages with utilities and gas suppliers Monitor and analyze daily data regarding electrical and chemical energy efficiencies Write programs for programmable logic controller, man-machine interfaces, and personal computers Troubleshoot and resolve problems with process control system at Liberty Evaluate and implement new technologies that will make steel manufacturing process more efficient Supervises one Process Control Systems Engineer Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from four-year college or university Three years related experience and/or training; will consider comparable work experience in lieu of a degree Proficient in AutoCad Proficient in Allen Bradley PLC5, SLC 500, RSLogix 5000 plc programming Proficient in Wonderware HMI programming Proficient in using personal computers and Microsoft software for analyzing, reporting, recommending, an developing strategies on how to improve safety, quality, costs, and productivity PAY RANGE: $115,000-$120,000 The Location: Liberty Steel & Wire is based in Peoria, IL.
