Your Legacy Legal Care has an opening for an experienced Probate and Guardianship Paralegal to assist us by providing a variety of clerical and research support services, including drafting documents for preparation and review, fact-checking for our cases, and assisting in litigation matters. Responsibilities:• Meet with attorneys, clients, and other professionals to discuss assigned cases or projects.• Draft and prepare legal documents.• E-file documents to the Court prior to their deadlines.• Manage calendar, schedule hearings, and depositions, and coordinate with Court personnel.• Complete daily tasks and assignments independently with little supervision in a timely manner to meet all deadlines.• Meet with clients in person, by phone, and virtually.• Keep track of a time and enter into MyCase. Qualifications:• Associate's Degree in Paralegal Studies and/or equivalent experience. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.• 3-5 years of legal experience in probate and guardianship matters.• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.• Litigation experience is a plus.• Associate's Degree in Paralegal Studies and/or equivalent experience Compensation: $50,000+ About Company: Your Legacy Legal Care™ is a growing full-service elder law and estate planning law firm dedicated to helping families plan for their future, protect the ones they love, and guide them through the unexpected.
