Position Summary: • Evaluate and diagnose patients with communication disorders, voice disorders, and swallowing disorders.• Develop individualized treatment plans with realistic goals and objectives.• Implement therapy interventions to improve speech and language deficits.• Evaluate feeding and swallowing abilities, and develop feeding and swallowing treatment plans.• Provide guidance and training to caregivers and family members.• Serve as a liaison between patients, families, and healthcare providers.• Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes for each patient.• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings when necessary.• Adhere to privacy and safety policies and procedures. Qualifications :• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.• Active and unrestricted SLP license in the state of Florida.• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and/or Florida licensure in Speech-Language Pathology.• Minimum of one-year experience as an SLP.• Experience working with adult and geriatric populations.• Knowledge of Medicare guidelines and other insurance requirements.• Strong interpersonal communication skills.• Excellent time management and organizational skills.• Ability to work independently.• Must have reliable transportation.This is a PRN opportunity with the potential for permanent placement for the right candidate.
