About Us: Maryland Treatment Centers Inc., provides a comprehensive continuum of treatment for persons of all ages with problems involving substance use. We feature specialty services for young adults and adults. Clinical programs include assessment, residential/inpatient, detoxification, day treatment, intensive outpatient and outpatient substance abuse, dual diagnosis, mental health, special education and prevention services. Our programs are accredited by the Joint Commission (JCAHO). We are currently searching for PRN (as needed) Nurses in our Baltimore location! LPN or RN welcomed to apply! Shift availability is Friday, Saturday & Sunday (Day & Evening Shifts) Responsibilities: Medical record keepingGeneral nursing care to patientsDemonstrates the ability to effectively assess and document the needs of patientsDemonstrates appropriate and effective verbal communication with patientsResponds effectively and appropriately in crisis Minimum Requirements: At least 21 Years of AgeAA degree in Nursing1 Year of experienceNurses must be licensed through the state of Maryland Department of Health and Hygiene.Good organizational and documentation skills Bonus Points: RTC experienceMental health / substance abuse experience
