The ideal candidate will work closely with the MA resource attorney and knowledge management team to assist with data and experience input and maintenance, drafting template documents, monitoring legal developments, and coordinating with various teams within the firm. The Private Equity Resource Attorney will play a crucial role in supporting the Private Equity practice group by assisting with various knowledge management, training, marketing, and resource-related initiatives. This role requires strong drafting, communication, organizational, and analytical skills, along with a deep understanding of private equity transactions. Duties:Collaborate with the MA resource attorney and knowledge management team to input and maintain MA/PE data and experiencePrepare drafts or revise existing precedent template documentsCurate and organize the PE group’s forms, precedents, and know-howMonitor legal and regulatory developments related to private equity practice and the firm’s core industry verticalsDevelop and maintain the internal landing page for the PE groupCoordinate with the firm’s legal education team to prepare content for associate trainings and firmwide training efforts related to PEWork closely with the PE/MA marketing team to strategize on firm PE promotion and assist with the creation of content for pitches and teach-insCollaborate with the quantitative analyst group on matters specific to PE funds and transactionsAssist resource attorneys in other practice groups on best practices and overlapping initiativesField day-to-day requests from attorneys for precedents, templates, and other resourcesBe involved in resource, knowledge management, and practice innovation projects Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law schoolAdmission to practice law in the United States7+ years of experience in a US private equity corporate/transactional practice Skills:Mastery of substantive areas of practice in private equityStrong drafting, communication, and organizational skillsKnowledge of industries commonly advised by the firmExcellent written and verbal communication and drafting skillsStrong intellectual ability, interpersonal, and technical skillsOrganizational and time management skills with attention to detail Benefits offered:Elective benefits including medical, dental, vision, health and/or dependent care flexible spending accountsPre-tax commuter benefitsLife insurance and ADDLong-term care coverageBackup care for children and/or adultsParental support benefits Creative lawyering in a laid back environment is big draw for associates at this Amlaw firm.
