Who you are: MP's client is looking to bring on a Printing Operator to join their growing team. If you are a hardworking individual with experience operating Rotogravure or Flexographic printing press machines, this position could be the perfect fit for you. If this role seems right up your alley, we would love to hear from you! What you will be doing: The Printing Operator is a hands-on position. The primary job of a Printing Operator will include but is not limited to, operating 10 color Rotogravure printing machines, mixing inks, cycle counting for inks, and solvents in the designated location within the print and lamination department. Other duties involved with this position will include material moving, disposing of hazardous waste (according to local, state, and federal requirements), perform quality testing, recordkeeping, cover breaks/lunches while complying with the production schedule and company policies and procedures. Effective communication should be established between the team members as well as with other shifts and direct supervisors. Our ideal candidate has: Minimum 1 year of printing experience Effective organizational skills Demonstrated ability to be a team player. Quality-oriented mindset Willingness and eager to learn. Ability to perform basic data entry/computer skills. High School Diploma or equivalent Rotogravure or Flexographic print experience About our client: MP's client is the manufacturing and market leader in North America of spouted pouches. We are a strategic partnership established in 2008 to develop and support spouted pouch technology in North America. The partnership consists of Hosokawa Yoko (Japan), Gualapack (Italy) and CDF Corporation (US). Each of the three partners brings a great deal of experience and knowledge to support the efforts in the USA. Additionally, they provided an engineered solution which includes film development, injection molded straws and caps and converting to meet your exact requirements. Additional information: $19-$21/hour Day shift: 7:00 am-7:00 pm Night shift: 7:00 pm-7:00 am
