Primary Role: The Desktop Support Technician III is a senior member on our helpdesk team that provides technical support to our customers and acts as a resource to internal team members. In this position, you will respond to customer tickets and provide a wide range of services (i.e. installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and repair) primarily on computers and related peripherals, but also some servers and networking equipment. Support may be delivered remotely, onsite, or in-house or a combination thereof. The primary responsibility of this position is to consistently deliver outstanding service to customers and ensure that all work is properly documented in our ticketing system.Qualifications: An associate degree in computers, computer science, networking, engineering, or similar technical degree and minimum of three years’ experience in IT helpdesk support is required. Additional experience in ConnectWise, Fortigate Firewalls, Veeam, ShadowProtect, and VoIP is preferred. Required certifications include A+, Net+, and Server+.Responsibilities:Adhere to company policies and proceduresComplete daily timecard documenting activities and perform administrative duties as requiredDemonstrate professional etiquette with team members, superiors, and customersMaintain company tools, equipment, vehicles, and property in good conditionActively participate in department meetings, quarterlies, and annual evaluationsPrioritize incidents and service requests to meet SLAs according to standard processesProvide support via telephone, web portal, and email in courteous, timely, and effective mannerInstall, troubleshoot, and repair computer systems, hardware, software, and other devicesUse remote tools and utilities to aid in resolving support requestsPerform server administration via Active Directory, File & Print services, DNS, DHCPNetwork firewall and switch administration and maintenanceAssist with network and server solution design and architectureOffice 365 Tenant setup and managementCollaborate and/or assist team members to resolve customer issuesEscalate unresolved issues to the next level of supportConsult with customers on IT products and servicesBe responsive and keep customers informed at all timesShare customer feedback and suggestions with team members and managementIdentify and recommend improvements for position, department, and companyBenefits:Avinext is a small company with big benefits and focus on helping employees build towards the future.
