Pricing Analyst - Remote BluePath Labs is a fast-growing research and management consulting company focused on solving challenging problems for both government and private sector clients. We are actively seeking a Pricing Analyst to perform activities in support of various pricing functions such as initiating cost proposal build, analysis, cost narrative and all basic reviews. Job responsibilities are generally proposal specific and will range in areas of difficulty. Key Responsibilities: Prepare timely, accurate and compliant cost proposals while adhering to and supporting company policies and procedures. Present pricing strategies to managers and executives Participate in the proposal pricing process to include: analyze Request for Proposal (RFP) requirements; develop pricing strategies, review, analyze and compile cost data; prepare cost volumes. Utilize processes and tools that result in compliant/quality pricing models. Lead the preparation of price/cost volume documents in a timely manner. Present/participate in pricing reviews with senior management. Support other pricing team members in preparing responses and review of work. Prepare written Basis of Estimate (BOE) documentation including cost assumptions. Required Skills Familiarity of concepts, practices and procedures in dealing with Firm fixed Price (FFP), Cost Plus fixed Fee (CPFF), Time and Material (T&M), Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite. Quantity (IDIQ) contract types and development of cost modeling for each type. Must be able to read and dissect an RFP. Must be detail oriented to ensure all developed cost models are 100% accurate. Must be able to work under pressure and produce high quality products within time constraints. Must be willing to work extended hours if required in support of a Cost Proposal. Must have the ability to self-motivate, track and stay on task. Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate pricing data to Senior Management is a must. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Mathematics or related field. 4 years minimum experience in pricing professional services contracts to the Federal Government. Professional Skills: Expert user of Microsoft® Excel, and Word and intermediate user of Adobe Acrobat. Excellent verbal, written, analytical and presentation skills. Ability to organize and prioritize multiple pricing efforts under tight deadlines. High level of ability to work independently with a high level of accuracy. Detail oriented.
