SHIFT:Day (United States of America)This is a part time (hourly) position offered through PolicyLab and the Division of General Pediatrics. The bilingual (Spanish & English) PriCare Trainer position will assist the Principal Investigator and more senior study staff in activities related to, PriCARE, a parenting intervention for parents of children with behavioral problems.Responsibilities of PriCARE trainer will include the following: Completing training on how to conduct PriCARE parenting training group sessions at CHOP Conduct PriCARE parenting training group sessions at CHOP for caregivers of patients aged 2-6 years with reported behavioral problems Participate in regular supervision sessions. What you will do Complete require PriCARE training and demonstrate mastery of skills Conduct PriCARE parenting training group sessions Participate in regular supervision sessions with Sr. PriCARE Trainer (Dr. Shore) Education Qualifications Master's Degree Required Experience Qualifications Previous experience treating at-risk children and parents Required Experience and passion for the development of healthy families Required Experience facilitating therapeutic groups Preferred Experience in urban settings Preferred Skills and Abilities Ability to perform assigned tasks with supervision. Able to work accurately, work well with others, and pay strict attention to detail. Must be adaptable to do work which is varied, and requires an intellectual and professional approach. Requires a flexibility of skills and hours. Excellent interpersonal skills Excellent oral and written communication skills Strong organizational and time management skills Background in child development (Preferred proficiency) Specific knowledge regarding young children (Preferred proficiency) To carry out its mission, CHOP is committed to supporting the health of our patients, families, workforce, and global community.
