Summary We are now hiring a Preschool Teacher's Assistant/Program Float. The Teacher's Assistant supports the Lead teacher, helping to create a caring and safe environment for the children and assisting in activities to improve the overall care and quality of education. S/he must have a love for working with young children, good communication skills, and the ability to work well with others in a team environment. Position to be open immediately. Duties Assist in the implementation of learning activities and encourage participation by children. Actively engage in activities; manage cleanliness, maintenance, and availability of classroom materials. Help ensure smooth, daily transition from home to child care center. Professionally communicate with families regarding their child's day, including using the classroom tablet to enter daily communications into the Procare app. Follow all center policies and NH Childcare Licensing regulations. Maintain personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement. Requirements Ability to work well with others. Strong oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills. An understanding of child development. Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Must clear full background check and must pass health screening. Minimum of 1 year of professional child care experience. ECE credits preferred with a minimum of 3 credits in Child Growth and Development or completion of a 2 year Education class in High School Nice To Haves Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification.
