Rural Family Development Caroline County Head Start Virginia Council of ChurchesRFD Caroline County Head Start, VA is currently seeking applicants for the following positions: Preschool Teacher Responsible for providing a developmentally appropriate Head Start environment for children ages three to five years in a center-based setting; as well as oversite of the day-to-day activities and management of the classroom. This is a nine-month position that requires an Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood or an Elementary Education Degree with a Pre-K endorsement. Preschool Substitute Teacher Responsible for assisting in the provision of developmentally appropriate activities in the classroom and caring for children ages three to five in a center-based setting under the guidance and direction of the Program Operations Manager. The Preschool Substitute Teacher shall also assist with the establishment and maintenance of well-managed, child-oriented environment that support health, safety, and cross-cultural awareness. This is a nine-month position. Preschool CDA, Early Childhood Education degree, Elementary or General Education degreed individuals needed. Training and technical assistance is provided.
