Job Description: Our goal is to serve nutritious, wholesome meals and snacks cooked onsite. We are looking for a part-time cook/food prep who loves to cook healthy, delicious meals that will appeal to the palate of toddlers/children in our care. ServSage certification is required. This is a part-time position 6:15AM 1:15PM. Job responsibilities: Plans and prepares snacks and meals in accordance with posted menus Determines meal and snack count and distributes food to each classroom. Removes trays and leftovers from classrooms and disposes accordingly. Performs weekly food and supply inventory; submits list of needed items Orders food and supply items from approved supplier, within budget set by Management. Checks-in supply deliveries to ensure accuracy of order placed. Keeps kitchen, including appliances, cabinets and all inventory, organized and clean. An ideal candidate will have: Have a love for children & cooking Experience in cooking for a school/pre-school will be a plus but not required, paid training will be provided Strong customer service mindset and work ethic Driver's License High school or equivalent *Salary dependent on experience and level of education.
