DeRomo's Gourmet Market, located in The Promenade Shopping Center in Bonita Bay, is hiring a counter person to work in our Prepared Foods department. If you thrive in a fast-paced, high volume environment - we want to hire you! We have both full-time and part-time positions available. If you are a team player who enjoys providing exceptional guest service, then DeRomo's is the place for you!Primary Responsibilities Ensure that customers receive excellent customer service Dish, weigh, and price prepared foods product as ordered Assist with product rotation Maintain the signs and tagging of the prepared foods case Set up the display cases and trays Keep track of product flow within case and communicate to manager/chef what is needed Maintain department sanitation, which includes cleaning, cases, and work area, utensils and emptying refuse Follow safety and health regulations at all times which includes proper use of equipment, wearing gloves, hats, proper refrigeration and temperature, and sanitation Part time position, afternoon - available to work until 6:30 pm (latest). QUALIFICATIONS: Previous experience in food service is a plus Good customer courtesy and communication skills Able to handle cleaning and lifting Must be 18 years of age or older and flexible to work weekends Able to follow written and verbal assignments Displays high level of integrity and reliability Able to maintain company dress code standards Must be able to lift and carry 20 lbs. Stand and walk for extended periods of time.
