Job Description: Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Prep Cook to join our culinary team at Umbrella Dry Bar. As a Prep Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all kitchen operations run smoothly by preparing ingredients, maintaining cleanliness, and contributing to the overall efficiency of the kitchen. Responsibilities: - Prep ingredients for a range of charcuterie boards and small plates that support every dietary journey. - Ensure the freshness and quality of ingredients by following proper storage and handling procedures. - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including equipment, workstations, and storage areas. - Support the culinary team in fulfilling orders during peak hours by efficiently preparing and stocking ingredients. - Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and informing management of ingredient needs. - Adhere to health and safety standards and regulations at all times. Qualifications: - Previous experience as a Prep Cook or in a similar role is advantageous but not required; training will be provided. - Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment and food preparation techniques. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality. - Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively. - Commitment to cleanliness and maintaining a sanitized work environment.
