POSITION INFORMATION Position: Prep Cook Location: 120 4th Ave S, Franklin, TN Hours: Vary - Weekends needed Pay Rate: $14 - $16/hr JOB SUMMARY The Prep Cook is responsible for cooking and preparing a variety of food products including meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, sauces, stocks, breads, and other food products using a variety of equipment and utensils according to the Daily Prep List. They are responsible for performing minor machine maintenance, setting up ingredients in preparation for production, and assigning the overall production of food when needed. They must also perform other duties in the areas of food and final plate preparation including plating and garnishing of cooked items and preparing appropriate garnishes for all hot menu item plates BENEFITS PACKAGE Excellent Health Benefits Package for Employees averaging over 30 hours/week. ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS Must pass the federally mandated E-verify process Be 18 years of age or older. Have reliable transportation to and from work. At least 1 year of experience working in a professional restaurant kitchen Must have an understanding of proper use and maintenance of major kitchen equipment.
