Pre/Op PACU RN Full Time, Part Time or PRN

Description:
This position is for a FULL TIME Pre-Op/PACU nurse in an ambulatory surgery setting. You will also be required to learn pre-admissions. We are open Monday through Friday and have all major holidays off. We are looking for a RNs with critical thinking skills that are dependable and can work in a fast pace setting. Charting is on an HST eChart. STRONG IV skills are a must. Dependable, problem solver with leadership skills is encouraged to apply. Please send email to receive application and schedule interview. Job Requirements: Education - High School Diploma or GED certification. Graduate of accredited school of nursing RN with active license in appropriate state CPR certification Evidence of leadership qualities. Strong ethical and moral character references. Language skills adequate for high level written, interpersonal and telephone communication in American English Preferred: ACLS PALS certification. (Not required can obtain on the job) ASC, PACU, ER, CRITICAL CARE experience preferred. Computer literacy Little supervision needed to accomplish task. Ability to handle frequent interruptions that result in having to re-evaluate priorities Dependability: Attendance: Is conscientious in attendance in order to provide the best possible service to the patients, physicians, families and fellow employees. Punctuality Ability to follow instructions: Abides by all work rules and employment practices. Ability to meet deadlines. Availability to travel between Destin and Fort Walton Beach as needed. Ability to Relocate:Fort Walton Beach, FL 32547: Relocate before starting work (Required)
