As part of the ONxpress consortium, Alstom is proudly working to transform the collective mobility of the Greater Toronto and Hamilton areas (GTHA) through the On-Corridor Works project, and we are hiring for hundreds of roles. The GO Expansion scope : new electric locomotives, fleet upgrades, train control systems, network electrification, signalling, telecommunications and digital systems, maintenance, and much more. Objective Alstom is seeking a Power Supply (POS) Construction Manager for TPFs (Traction Power Facilities). This individual will be accountable in QCD of all POS Site works for TPFs, from preparation until completion and handover. Responsibilities R esponsible and accountable in QCD of all POS site works, from preparation until completion and handover Definition of Work packages related to Traction Power Facilities, including all aspects of RFQ preparation R esponsible and accountable in Alstom EHS rules (AZDP) compliance, strictly implementing Alstom policies and creating a 0 accident and 0 deviations culture R esponsible and accountable in planning set-up and on time execution until hand-over Methodology and constructability, from preparation until validation Planning progress follow-up until hand-over Site Interface Management with internal and external Stakeholders Management of suppliers (if applicable) and subcontractors on site Quality management in coordination with QA/QC team (Audits, site modifications, NCR, REX…etc) Configuration management until hand-over to T&C Construction interfaces with other subsystems (OCSteam, Trackworks team, signalling team, O&M team, CW team…etc) Support the definition of Installation strategy for the POS- construction activities, in coordination with the Civil team Define all preplans related to Traction Power.
