The Power Engineer is responsible for the maintenance and safe consistent operation of the Ammonia/Glycol refrigeration plant and preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and monitoring of all life safety, HVAC, electrical and mechanical systems within the Retail Support Centre while actively contributing to a positive, productive and safe working environment. Here’s where you’ll be focusing: Responsible for the maintenance and safe, consistent operation of the Ammonia/ Glycol Refrigeration Plant and all related systems Monitor, maintain, trouble shoot and repair life safety systems, including sprinkler systems and piping, sprinkler risers, valve groups, fire pump, fire hoses, extinguishers, fire alarm panel and fire dialer. Monitor, maintain, trouble shoot and repair all HVAC and human comfort systems, including RTU’s, unit heaters, lighting, etc. Monitor, maintain, trouble shoot and repair all building related mechanical equipment, including, dock plates, overhead doors, rollup doors,.
