The Bourne lab at the University of Oklahoma seeks to recruit a postdoctoral scientist with experience in microbial genetics and BSL2 microbiology . The lab works on bacterial toxin-antitoxin (TA) systems from the ParDE family. The successful candidates MUST have experience in molecular biology and genetics, and previous work with toxic protein expression, particularly in Vibrio , Mycobacteria , and/or Burkholderia is extremely advantageous.
