Postdoc in Spatial genomics x CRISPR screens at Columbia University

Description:
We're looking for postdocs to leverage spatial omics approaches to study cell-to-cell interactions in vivo. Specifically we are looking to identify how CRISPR perturbations affect cell decisions in a tissue context by combining pooled CRISPR screens with multiplexed spatial proteomic and transcriptomic approaches. Our preprint details our approach https://www.biorxiv.org/content/10.1101/2023.12.26.572587v1. Applications include cancer (tumor microenvironment), immunity and auto-immune diseases, and organoid work.Candidates are expected to have a proven track record during their PhD in experimental or computational work relevant to our goals.
