Overview: An automotive industry porter plays a vital role in supporting the smooth operation of an automotive dealership or service center. They are responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, organization, and efficient flow of vehicles and customers within the facility.Key Responsibilities:Vehicle Management: Park vehicles in designated areas to maximize space and facilitate easy access for customers and staff. Move vehicles between different areas of the dealership, such as the service department, showroom, and lot. Maintain the cleanliness of vehicles, including washing and detailing as needed. Conduct basic inspections for damages or defects and report findings to relevant personnel. Customer Service: Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner upon their arrival. Assist customers with parking and locating their vehicles. Escort customers to the appropriate department or service area. Provide information about dealership services, promotions, and amenities. Facility Maintenance: Keep the dealership's interior and exterior areas clean and presentable. Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in customer areas, service bays, and offices.
