Job Title: Political Phone Texter Location: Roswell, GA Employment Type: 1099 Contract Reports to: Project Manager Job Description: At the Voter Education Project, we are looking for passionate and motivated individuals to join us as Political Phone Texters. As a Political Phone Texter, you will be at the forefront of our outreach efforts, engaging with potential voters and supporters through text messaging campaigns. This role provides a fantastic opportunity to play a significant part in achieving our political goals. Responsibilities: 1. Conduct outbound text messaging campaigns to potential voters and supporters. 2. Engage in conversations to inform, persuade, and mobilize individuals to support our cause or candidate. 3. Maintain a clear and concise communication style while adhering to campaign messaging guidelines. 4. Provide accurate and up-to-date information about the campaign, its initiatives, and events. 5. Keep detailed records of interactions and feedback received from contacts. 6. Collaborate with team members to meet outreach goals and targets. 7. Attend regular team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on campaign strategies and messaging. 8. Demonstrate a strong understanding of the political landscape and the issues at hand. Qualifications: 1. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 2. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport quickly. 3. A passion for and knowledge of political issues and campaigns. 4. Comfortable using text messaging platforms and technology. 5. Detail-oriented with the ability to accurately record information. 6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. 7. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and campaign strategies. 8. Previous experience in political outreach, canvassing, or phone banking is a plus. Compensation: $22 per hour Powered by JazzHR
