Notice of Examination For Employment in the Fayetteville Police Depertment The Civil Service Commission of the City of Fayetteville has scheduled a written examination for entry level positions in the Police Department on Saturday, April 25, 2020 at Ramay Jr. High Cafeteria located at 401 S. Sang, Fayetteville, AR (just off Hwy 62). The examination will begin at 9:00 A.M.Police officers are hired in accordance with City of Fayetteville Civil Service Commission Rules and Regulations. Testing for entry-level police officer is normally scheduled two or three times each year. The testing process includes a written exam, physical agility test and interviews.Requirements:Birth Certificate or proof of citizenship, GED or High School or College Diploma, Driver's License and DD-214 for applicants with prior military experience.
