As we continue to grow, we are looking for a skilled and reliable plumber to join our team and ensure the plumbing systems in our apartment complexes are in top-notch condition.Position Overview:As a Plumber at Opus Communities, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the plumbing systems within our multi-family apartment complexes are operating efficiently and effectively. You will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and installations to uphold our commitment to providing high-quality living spaces for our residents.Responsibilities:- Assist in diagnosing and repairing plumbing issues within the apartment complexes.- Assist in installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing fixtures, such as sinks, toilets, and showers.- Assist in inspecting and testing plumbing systems to ensure they meet regulatory and safety standards.- Collaborate with maintenance teams to address plumbing-related maintenance requests in a timely manner.- Keep accurate records of plumbing repairs and maintenance activities.- Assist in sourcing and purchasing plumbing supplies and materials as needed.- Identify opportunities for system improvements and efficiency enhancements.Requirements:- Proven experience as a plumber helper, preferably in a multi-family apartment complex or similar setting.- Some knowledge of local plumbing codes and regulations.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.-Proficiency in using ProPress fittings and tools. - Physical ability to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding tasks.**How to Apply:**If you are a plumber helper looking to make a positive impact on the living experiences of our residents, please apply via link listed.Opus Communities is an equal opportunity employer.
