Bethel University has an opening for a full-time Technician to repair and install water supply and drain lines, valves and natural gas lines and assist in the analysis, maintenance, modification and repair in building heating, venting and air conditioning equipment and systems. Essential Functions : Plumbing - Install and complete plumbing repairs. Electrical - Serve as back-up to electrical technicians General Maintenance - Snow removal and salting of sidewalks, unloading delivery trucks, and working at campus events. The successful candidate will also share on-call responsibilities, and may be asked to perform a variety of routine maintenance tasks from other disciplines as well. Qualifications A high school diploma or equivalent is required Two years of plumbing experience is recommended Two years of electrical technical training is recommended A commitment to support the university mission and Covenant of Lifestyle is also required. Working Conditions Will work in indoor and outdoor environments during all seasons in cold, heat, and humidity.
