Dedham Health and Athletic is looking to hire innovative, energetic, and hard-working role models for our playroom! Position: Part time Play Room Supervisor. (Year round) Starting Date: March 2023 Available: Days, Nights and Weekends QUALIFICATIONS Experience working with youth (experience working in child care. Or Babysitting.) Must be 16+ Emotionally mature, responsible, and punctual Team player and willing to work hard Ability to take direction from leaders Ability to take initiative Self-motivated RESPONSIBILITIES Create a magical experience for all children by guiding them through new activities and creating an environment where they can build new friendships. Maintain rules for safety. Actively find ways to nurture and challenge children every day. Be kind, caring and attentive. Help run plan birthday parties and parents night out. WORKING IN DOWNTOWN IS FOR YOU IF.... You love kids! You are quick to come up with ways to keep children entertained with activities, games, or conversation topics. You don't want a desk job You are motivated to help children learn new things about themselves and the world around them. You love variety. (Each day at Downtown is unique!) Experience :At least 1 year of child care
