N.E.W. Community Clinic's mission is to provide access to quality, comprehensive, and compassionate healthcare for the underserved in our community. We provide healthcare services including medical, dental, mental healthcare, WIC, and community outreach services to anyone in our community who may be living in poverty or who may be underserved. We take care of people regardless of the ability to pay. N.E.W. Community Clinic has two dental clinics, three medical clinics, two WIC locations, and a behavior health clinic in Green Bay, and we are seeking an experienced and empathetic Physician to join our enthusiastic team. As a non-profit organization, it is about delivering quality, compassionate care. Position Summary: Assessment - collects comprehensive data relevant to the patient's status. Diagnose - compare clinical findings, normal and abnormal variations formulating a diagnosis and plan for treatment. Review incoming reports (e.g. lab, x-ray, EKG) sign, date, and follow-up in a timely manner. Planning - identifies assessment findings along with diagnostic strategies and collaborates with the patient on a plan of care in conjunction with prescribing medication in accordance with Wisconsin statute and professional practice guidelines. Arrange referral for patients requiring services not offered at N.E.W. Community Clinic. I mplementation - cares directly for the patient and manages complexities through providing leadership in coordination of the multidisciplinary team. Perform minor surgical procedures within scope of practice. Assist in updating protocols and principles of practice as requested. Evaluation - evaluates patient care outcomes and effectiveness of the interventions in relationship to patient's expected outcomes. Quality - comply with the N.E.W. Community Clinic Infection Control plan which includes personally utilizing universal precautions. Ensure compliance by support staff. Participate in peer review, quality assurance, provider meetings, and other clinical meetings. Adhere to Uniform Data Set (UDS) productivity standards and meet at least the minimum requirement. Collaboration - assist in outside medical public relations functions. Participate in staff outreach and off-site health care programs in the N.E.W. Community Clinic service area as assigned by the CEO/Medical Director or designee. Promote the mission of the N.E.W. Community Clinic. Supervisory Responsibilities: Supervises students in training at N.E.W. Community Clinic as assigned by the Coordinator/CEO/Medical Director or designee. Supervises mid-level practitioners as appropriate (physician assistants and nurse practitioners). Qualifications and Education Requirements Experience: Three years' experience preferred Language: Comprehend and use basic language either written or spoken to communicate information and ideals. Bilingual (English/ Spanish) a plus Preferred Skills Previous EPIC experience a plus Highest level of professionalism with the ability to maintain confidentiality. Ability to communicate at all levels of organization and work well within a team environment in support of company objectives. Function independently, and have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders and vendors. Efficient use of Microsoft Office software. Required Credentials, Certification, Licensure Current Wisconsin State Medical License Current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Certificate Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Family Practice or other specialties as needed. If Board Eligible at the time of hire, must be Board Certified within 3 years of hire date. Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certificate (CPR)
