POSITION TITLE: PHYSICIAN FLSA: EXEMPT REQUIRED EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Osteopathy (D.O.) Degree. Completed approved residency program in Family Practice, Internal Medicine, or Pediatrics. Board Certified. Florida licensed. DEA License. BLS required Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. PRINCIPAL DUTIES: Provides direct health care to general patient population, routine, acute, and chronic care. After hours calls as needed Serves as Family Practice/Internal Medicine/Pediatric consultant to other providers. Supervises ARNP's and PA's as appropriate. Provides patient education. Actively participates in and promotes quality assurance program. Obtains hospital privileges in respective specialty, as applicable.
