HCA Florida Osceola Hospital in conjunction with the University of Central Florida College of Medicine (UCF COM) is seeking an internal medicine physician to join our residency as core facultyQualified Candidates: Applicants must be American Board-certified in internal medicine Established internal medicine residency program started in July 2014 Mix of inpatient and outpatient work 8 faculty, 1 PD, and 1 APD We welcome 25 new IM residents per year (75 total residents annually) Candidates with prior teaching experience and/or additional chief resident year will take precedent Spanish language fluency strongly preferred Core faculty will actively participate in clinical supervision, mentoring, and teaching of residents and medical students, didactic presentations, serving on committees, and participating in scholarly activitiesIncentives/Benefits Package: HCA Florida Osceola Hospital and University of Central Florida COM have successfully built residencies/fellowships in Internal Medicine, Endocrinology, Emergency Medicine, OBGYN, Psychiatry, General Surgery and Neurology Employed by HCA Physician Services Group, the largest hospital network in the nation Competitive salary and comprehensive health benefits package and 401k Support and leadership at local and national levelsAbout HCA Florida Osceola Hospital: 404-bed, Level II Trauma Center, and Level II NICU Accredited by the Joint Commission Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center Chest Pain Centers with Percutaneous Coronary Intervention by the American College of Cardiology Blue Distinction Center in cardiac care from Blue Cross Blue Shield Graduate Medical Education Program with residencies and fellowships in Internal Medicine, Endocrinology, Emergency Medicine, OBGYN, Psychiatry, General Surgery, and Neurology with UCF COM Freestanding Emergency Departments at Hunter's Creek ER and Millenia ERLocated only 17 miles south of Orlando, beautiful Kissimmee, FL truly has something for everyone and an endless array of community amenities and activities to enjoy.
