Total Joint Fellowship trained Orthopedic Surgeon seeks to add a full-time orthopedic Physician Assistant to the team. This position includes both the clinic and OR. This is a well-established and busy practice. This doctor has a focus on hip and knee joint replacements and some general cases. The Physician Assistant will run an orthopedic clinic parallel to the physician. The group has a state-of-the-art facility which includes PT/OT, EMR and newer OR suites. Responsibilities include:? Run orthopedic clinic? First assist? Joint aspiration and injections? Pre-op and post-op H&P?s? Hospital rounding? Write scripts? Coordinate with Physical Therapist? Ordering tests and evaluate X-ray, CT scan and MRI? Casting and splinting The location is within 2 plus hours to Eugene, Oregon. This doctor will train a recent graduate with an orthopedic rotation.
