CV/CT Surgery, First Assist Plano, Texas Baylor Scott & White, The Heart Hospital is seeking an experienced First Assist Advanced Practice Provider to join the Department of Cardiology specializing in cardiovascular and cardiothoracic surgeries, located in Plano, Texas. THH-Plano is also one of the top five busiest cardiac surgery programs in the United States with advancement and continued growth in minimally invasive, robotic, and port access approaches including mitral valve, tricuspid valve, pulmonic valve, and aortic valve repair and/or replacement. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE * Graduate of an accredited program* NPs must have: RNFA certifications* Cardiology and OR experience required CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION * Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistant (NCCPA) OR the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board (AANPCB)* Unrestricted Texas Physician Assistant (PA) OR Nurse Practitioner (NP) CNP license, Registered Nurse (RN), Registered Nurse First Assist (RNFA) certification* Basic Life Support (BLS): Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire or transfer.* Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months of hire or transfer.
