Position: Physician Anesthesiologist Company: Travel Hire Location: Albany, NY, United States Contract Details: Full-time Travel Hire is seeking a skilled and dedicated Physician Anesthesiologist to join our team in Albany, NY. As a full-time, temporary employee, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, providing top-notch care to patients in need of anesthesia services. Key Responsibilities: - Administer anesthesia and monitor patients before, during, and after surgical procedures- Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement anesthetic plans- Evaluate patients' medical histories and develop personalized anesthesia plans based on their individual needs- Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as needed during procedures- Provide post-operative pain management and monitor patients' recovery- Communicate effectively with patients and their families to explain procedures and address any concerns- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a sterile environment in the operating room- Stay up-to-date on advancements in anesthesia techniques and equipment- Participate in on-call rotations and respond to emergency situations as needed Qualifications: - Medical degree from an accredited school of medicine- Board certification in Anesthesiology- Valid state medical license and DEA registration- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a practicing Anesthesiologist- Strong knowledge of anesthesia techniques and equipment- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations- Willingness to work flexible hours and participate in on-call rotationsWe offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and a 401(k) retirement plan.
