Bal Therapy, a clinician-owned outpatient therapy practice, is seeking a passionate and skilled Physical Therapist to join our team. We prioritize human connection, flexibility, and empowering therapists to deliver exceptional care. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient lives by providing one-on-one mobile therapy services in individual homes and assisted living facilities in the Northern Virginia area. The hours are flexible with the current need for 10-20 hours per week but the potential for full time hours. About Bal Therapy Founded in 2020, Bal Therapy is a collective of dedicated physical and occupational therapists transforming rehabilitative healthcare. Our mission is to reduce patient pain, increase mobility lost due to injury or illness, and enhance overall health and wellness through personalized, high-quality care. What You'll Do - Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans - Implement therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and evidence-based techniques to improve mobility, strength, and range of motion - Educate patients and families on proper home exercise programs and self-care strategies - Closely monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed - Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care - Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of evaluations, progress notes, and treatment outcomes What You'll Bring - Master's or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program - Current Virginia Physical Therapist license (or in the process of obtaining one) - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals - Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities - Passion for geriatric care and helping individuals age in place with improved quality of life Why Join Bal Therapy? - Flexible schedule to maintain a healthy work-life balance - Competitive compensation - 401(k) with employer matching and CEU assistance program - Opportunities for mentorship, training, and professional growth - Supportive community of peers for collaboration and consultation - Weekend hours available but not required If you're a dedicated Physical Therapist passionate about providing exceptional mobile outpatient therapy services, we want to hear from you!
