Mac Intosh Sport Medicine Clinic provides services to students, othermembers of the University, and the public, including, but not limited to, intercollegiate and international-calibre athletes. The staff of the Clinic provides preventive and therapeutic sport medicine services at the clinic and at athletic events. The clinic staff provide patient care as part of a multi-disciplinary team that includes certified athletic therapists, registered physical therapists, registered sport massage therapists, sport physicians, orthopedic surgeons, receptionists and a clinic manager. Under the general supervision of the Head Therapist and the Clinic Manager, the incumbent will provide Clinical Therapy Services and Intercollegiate Team Care. Your responsibilities will include: Providing manual physical health backssments and treatments in accordance with professional standards Providing health counselling on specific injuries and general health advice Developing and implementing an individualized therapeutic approach to address client needs Providing on-field triage and support to medical professionals as required Coordinating patient care with advanced.
