Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA): Full-Time or Part-Time Primary Location: Winchester, VA Clinic Hours: Mon 7:00am-6:30pm Tues 7:30am-6:30pm Wed 7:00am-6:30pm Thurs 7:30am-6:30pm Fri 7:30am-3:00pm *Flexible scheduling available; requires two closing shifts per week Position Summary Provide efficient, quality-oriented physical therapy patient care under the direction of Physical Therapist, including treatment, implementation, education, and communication to maximize the patient's progress toward achieving functional goals. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state employed. Essential Job Duties Provides physical therapy services to patients in accordance with PTA guidelines for professional practice and per clinic policy. Provides clinical information in a timely manner concerning safety and functional needs as required. Documents patient treatments, interactions and outcomes accurately and timely. Demonstrates behaviors which foster effective professional and therapeutic relationships with patients, families and team members. Remains current with literature and education related to profession.
