The Rock River Valley Blood Center is looking for talented individuals with outstanding customer service experience to join our team of Donor Care Specialists (Phlebotomists) in a full-time float position. We are seeking a full-time position (30+ hours) with open availability Monday- Saturday. This position will be regularly scheduled Monday-Thursday and alternating weekends. Upon request, plan to travel to any site or mobile location throughout the workweek based on staffing needs and demands. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain phlebotomy experience from a dedicated, professional, and caring team with a recognized leader in the blood center industry. As part of our Mobile Donor Care Specialists team, you will be responsible for performing blood collections and donor screenings, while providing a safe and pleasant experience for our volunteer donors at our mobile blood drives across the Rock River Valley Region. What you will need: High school diploma or equivalent Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)/Certified Medical Assistant(CMA) or equivalent preferred Excellent customer service experience Enjoy working with the public Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to work and interact with peers and donors Strong attention to detail and quality control skills Must have open availability Benefits & Perks: Health, Vision & Dental Insurance PTO Paid Holidays 401k with company match Employee Assistance Program FSA Disability and Life Insurance Employee referral bonuses Tuition Reimbursement Health Club/Weight Watchers Reimbursement Program Although CNA and clinical and/or blood collection experience is preferred, we are willing to provide on the job training and experience to the right candidates.
