Our friendly and experienced team will ensure you are in good hands moving forward!Position Details:The Retail Pharmacy Supervisor will provide first-line administrative and technical supervision in the organization, planning, implementation, and direction of comprehensive and cost-effective pharmaceutical programs and services at all four outpatient pharmacies within Parkview Health. This individual will be responsible and accountable for the performance of pharmacy functions required of the Parkview Pharmacy Leadership teams to ensure the efficient operation of outpatient pharmacies. The Supervisor will actively establish, maintain, revise, and implement pharmacy operating procedures, work standards, and quality control measures. Direct reports may include pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, pharmacy students, and/or volunteers. Additional responsibilities include consistent communication with and coordination between outpatient pharmacy and specialty pharmacy activities and the active promotion of good public relations and exceptional customer service. This position is an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our patients and communities. Requirements:The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational, drug information, third-party billing, communication, and technical skills. Additionally, this individual must have excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and people service skills with the ability to also function in a clinical capacity to adequately address medication therapy management concerns. The candidate will need to be comfortable with autonomy and resiliency, able to self motivate, willing to actively learn new concepts, and able to drive process improvement.
