miRX is currently seeking a Pharmacist to join the team! miRX is a pharmacy that handles mail in orders. The Pharmacist position assists with the pharmacy and drug distribution activities for the miRx Pharmacy. The pharmacist is responsible for safe and efficient methods for coordinating established pharmacy policies concerning the dispensing of pharmaceuticals. As required, the pharmacist will provide drug information to meet the needs of the patient, nurse and physician. The pharmacy is open Monday-Friday from 9am-5pm and Saturday from 8am-12pm. The pharmacist will work 24hrs Monday-Friday as well as working alternating Saturdays. Position Location: 993 S. 24 th St. W., Suite A Billings, MT 59102 Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Operations Dispenses prescriptions to members in accordance with established policy and in conformance with regulations and laws pertaining to the class of prescription Counsels members regarding use of medication Assures drugs are appropriately identified, labeled and packaged Performs work to ensure timely distribution Maintains inventory control as dictated by policy Supervise pre-packing of drugs and control procedures Verifies the work performed by support personnel Administrative Maintains a working knowledge of the latest developments in the pharmaceutical industry and remains highly technically competent at all levels. Implements policies that more effectively utilize resources. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the profession by participation in organization memberships; attendance at meetings or seminars; reading journals; complying with National Standards in order to maintain professional competency and proficiency Customer Service Provides timely and thorough follow up with staff, internal and external customers. Appropriately escalates difficult issues up the chain of command. Acts as a role model in demonstrating the core values in customer service delivery Quality Assurance Serves on committees, work groups, and/or process improvement teams to assist in improving quality/customer satisfaction Recognizes and alerts appropriate member of the Executive Team of trends that fall outside of quality parameters Performs self-quality monitoring in order to develop and execute plans to meet established goals Provides ongoing feedback to help optimize quality performance Collaborates with others to improve or streamline procedures. The employee will be required to follow any other instructions and to perform any other duties requested by his/her supervisor Required Experience / Education: Graduate from an American Council of Pharmaceutical Education (ACPE) Accredited School of Pharmacy Minimum of three years' experience with demonstrated success Current and unencumbered License of Pharmacy with the State of Montana Retail Pharmaceutical experience preferred What can Imagine360 offer you?
