A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A PHARMACIST IN CHARGE As a Pharmacist in Charge, you are responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our pharmacy. In this supervisory role, you provide training and mentorship to technicians and clerks. Your leadership and interpersonal skills serve you well as you delegate responsibilities, offer constructive feedback, and implement employee improvement plans. Staff members appreciate how you facilitate a positive culture where communication is valued. You ensure the pharmacy is a safe place to work and shop, enforcing compliance with all rules, laws, and regulations. You're committed to providing excellent service, and you make sure prescriptions are filled and dispensed quickly and accurately. As a naturally patient and helpful person, you make time for our customers and answer their questions while counseling them about their medications. You also provide immunizations, following the proper documentation procedures. Additionally, you keep an eye on the overall status of the business. You're aware of assets, liabilities, and revenue streams, and you look for cost-saving measures. Using management platforms such as Mirixa and EQuIPP, you track performance and assess outcomes. Members of management enjoy collaborating with you as you discuss personnel issues, report on the status of initiatives, and share ideas for improvement.
