Company developing and manufacturing oral dosage forms manufacturing systems seeks Process Development Engineer to support product, process and equipment development and optimization for pharmaceutical manufdacturing clients. Activities: *** Provide engineering team with technical expertise related to physical and chemical characterization and solid dosage pharmaceutical development. *** Support pilot and scale up development and optimization of manufacturing process. *** Collaborate regarding pilot and commercial process parameter design and execution, formulation, batch execution, and post batch evaluation and analysis. *** Execute experiments at lab and commercial scales, implementing quality by design principles and design of experiments to develop robust process parameters, and collaboratively conduct design assessments of currently marketed products to improve manufacturing process and equipment quality and efficiency. *** Perform process improvement projects and troubleshoot production processes. *** Support Research & Development formulation development, Process Engineering, Quality by Design, Scale up, Technical Service, Cleaning Validation, Process Validation, and Stability activities. Required: *** Degree in Engineering, Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemical Engineering, or related science field. *** 6+ years of experience in pharmaceutical development, validation, and manufacturing. *** Knowledge of pharmaceutical unit manufacturing operations such as blending, milling, compression, tablet coating, and fluid bed coating process. *** Experience developing immediate and modified release technologies.
