One last thing: Our four-day week continues in Summer 2024! Do you have an entrepreneurial mindset and an interest in delivering new products to the market through consultative selling? The ideal candidate for our Personal Insurance Account Manager position will not only have a deep understanding of the personal auto insurance product, class plans and the market, but also an interest and skillset that spans sales, account management and marketing. What you'll be doing: Present profit improvement solutions to existing P&C clients Maintain client engagement through regular communication Conduct annual review sessions with clients Monitor and expand client data usage to align with their needs Compile & communicate market intelligence information Onboard new customers and provide support for their success Document daily activities in our CRM software (Salesforce) Work with our marketing team to support sales initiatives Work from home while traveling 15% - 20% of the time is expected for: Building rapport with existing customers (Western US) Attending industry trade shows and conferences Participation in quarterly on-site internal meetings in our Virginia HQ What we're looking for: Minimum of 5 years multi-disciplinary insurance company experience, ideally as a production-oriented underwriter Proven sales acumen with formal sales training Track record managing and growing key clients Experience presenting personal auto profit improvement solutions Basic understanding of actuarial principles and lift charts Strong work ethic, highly driven and self-motivated Excellent written and oral communication skills College degree and/or insurance credentials (CIC or CPCU) is preferred Experience with the California and Texas markets a huge plus What's in it for you: Competitive compensation, benefits and generous time-off policies 4-Day summer work weeks and a winter holiday break 401(k) / DCPP matching Annual bonus program Casual, dog-friendly, and innovative office spaces Don't just take our word for it: 10X Virginia Business Best Places to Work 9X Washingtonian Great Places to Work 9X Washington Post Top Workplace St. Louis Post-Dispatch Best Places to Work PDN-9ba12e0b-4e39-443a-b3f2-bf54731c00b5
