The ideal candidate will manage all personal injury cases from inception to resolution. This role requires exceptional client interaction, strong communication and writing skills, and a solid legal background in personal injury law.Job Responsibilities:Manage all aspects of personal injury cases from inception to resolutionGather and review medical records and other pertinent documentationTake and defend depositions of clients, witnesses, and expertsConduct discovery, including drafting and responding to interrogatories and requests for productionNegotiate settlements with insurance companies and opposing counselPrepare cases for trial, including drafting motions, briefs, and other court documentsRepresent clients in court, presenting evidence and arguing motionsProvide clients with legal advice and updates throughout their casesCollaborate with legal team members and support staff to ensure effective case managementRequirements:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law schoolLicensed to practice law in Mississippi (passed the Bar exam on the first attempt)In good standing with the Mississippi Bar AssociationStrong background in personal injury lawExperience in personal injury litigation.Certifications:Bar certification in the state of MississippiAdditional certifications in personal injury law are a plusSkills:Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in legal research databases and case management softwareStrong communication and writing skills, with the ability to draft clear, concise legal documentsExceptional client interaction skills, with the ability to provide compassionate and effective legal supportAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneouslyAnalytical thinking and problem-solving abilitiesEducation:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law schoolJob Location:Gulfport, MS
