Personal Care Supervisor RN/LPN Full Time, Temporary Title: Personal Care Supervisor Status: Full Time, Temporary Shift: 2:00pm - 10:30pm, Days Vary, Every Other Weekend Location: Murrysville What does Redstone offer me? As a Personal Care Manager , supporting the Redstone mission will include the following responsibilities: Effective leadership that includes supporting core values, addressing zero tolerance behaviors and maintaining active communication with employees supervised in Personal Care. Assess reports and maintains accurate documentation regarding resident conditions. Must be able to recognize significant changes in the conditions of residents. Completes assessments as required based on level of care. Responsible for notification to physician and families/responsible party regarding changes. Assists with development and administers competency-based evaluations for staff. Assists in planning, directing, and monitoring quality assurance programs to ensure quality resident care and delivery of services. Completes or coordinates all aspects of resident admissions, hospital transfers and discharges, including electronic entry of resident data and orders. Processes physician orders and communicates with family members by telephone or in person to discuss and provide updates on resident's care or condition. Covers the medication passes, treatments and overall resident care tasks in accordance with physician orders/instructions, in the event of absence or vacancy in the schedule. Ensures completion of new Personal Care resident and family orientation. Maintains regulatory compliance with significant change and annual assessments, medical evaluations (DME) and support plans (RASP) and completes BHSL paperwork for new admissions (Pre-Admission Screening, DME and RASP). What do I need for this role w ith Redstone? At least 2 years of management/supervisory experience. A Licensed Practical Nurse certificate in Nursing from a college or technical school and successfully passing the practical nursing licensure exam or an associate's degree (A.S) in Nursing from a two - year college or university and successfully passing the registered nursing licensure exams preferred, but not required.
