Summary Seeking pediatric cardiologist to join our team of pediatric cardiologists. This full time clinical position will be primarily based at our Woodlands location. The successful candidate will be hired at an Assistant Professor rank. Requirements include 3 years of fellowship training in Pediatric Cardiology. A 4th year of advanced imaging training is strongly desired. The successful candidates must be Board certified or eligible in Pediatric Cardiology. As part of this service, the cardiologist will be involved in the management and care of all inpatients and outpatients at the Woodlands Campus facility. They will also be a team member of the larger Texas Children’s Hospital Cardiology team. They will staff inpatient consultations and cardiology patients, and outpatient clinics. They will be involved in the interpretation of hospital associated imaging studies, depending on expertise. There will be an opportunity to engage with the team at large at the Texas Children’s Heart Center for quality, research and education endeavors. In addition to the clinical responsibilities, the expectation is that the cardiologist will also engage the community in the Woodlands and surrounding areas at large for advocacy and education. Relationship building with referring providers and community physicians will be paramount. Qualities would include excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to work well within a team, adherence to the highest moral and ethical standards, flexibility, a desire for continuous improvement, dedication to excellent patient care and a strong work ethic.
