This institution has the first Center for Life in Texas and only the third in the nation.50 years of c Program includes two pediatric congenital heart surgeons Dedicated pediatric transplant case manager, pediatric transplant LCSW, and pediatric transplant psychologist In-house testing for transplants along with transplant pharmacist 24/7 organ procurement with onsite procurement team Dedicated biorepository for research purposes Three procurement ORs readily available Inpatient child life services, pediatric intensivists, and a palliative team for consults Brand new women and children?s hospital opening in November 2023 San Antonio is the seventh largest and one of the fastest growing cities in the U.S. It is home to the River Walk ? a 15-mile network of stone paths along the San Antonio River that connects hotels, shops, restaurants, theaters, and more.
