Description Specialization: Anesthesiology Pediatric Job Summary: HCA Healthcare Anesthesia Services seeks an experienced physician board certified in general and Pediatric Anesthesiology to lead, grow and develop our Pediatric team at Memorial Health University Medical Center Hospital in Savannah, Georgia. Our goal is to build a team that provides a supportive, productive clinical environment where team members thrive and focus on providing outstanding patient care. Memorial is a level one trauma center and is moving toward pediatric trauma within the next year. In this key role, the medical director is responsible for the oversight and management of clinical operations in pediatric anesthesiology, including staffing and utilization of staff, compliance with protocol and practice standards. This is a fantastic opportunity to build the pediatric service. Qualified Candidates: MD/DO certified in General and Pediatric Anesthesiology Licensed or licensable in the state of Georgia ACLS/PALS certification Leadership experience Incentives/Benefits: Employed position Competitive compensation including start date bonus and leadership stipend Case Coverage in Pediatrics only or a mixture (you choose) at one site only CME allowance, paid malpractice coverage Comprehensive benefits including health, vision, dental and more 10 weeks TAFP (time away from practice) and $5,000 CME 401 (k) -Company match starting at 3% increasing with years of service 5-day week with supervision of up to 4 APPs 100% paid professional liability insurance (occurrence based/no tail required) About Memorial Health: 612-bed hospital (50 pediatric patient rooms, 14 bed PICU, Level III 82 bed NICU) + 40 pediatric specialists Regional referral center for heart, cancer, trauma, pediatrics, high-risk pregnancies and newborn care Serves 35 counties in SE Georgia and Southern SC Medical education program with residents in pediatrics and surgery among others Savannah is a charming Southern escape where art, rich history, incredible architecture, trendy boutiques and ghost stories are all set under a veil of Spanish moss.
