We are growing and looking for a detail-oriented HCM Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for s upporting all aspects of our clients' payroll processes from quality assurance procedures for ensuring accurate data entry or importing, running special processes, correcting file information, preparing reports and file feeds and other related issues. Additionally, you will work with our HR Operations team to provide a Payroll persepctive to workflow, policy set-up and procedures. Responsibilities include: Accurately and timely processing of the Company's multi-state payrolls. Manage payroll related information, accounting transactions (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, etc.) into the HCM/Payroll System. Updating payroll records by approving workflows in the systems for taxes, insurance coverage, job title and department/division transfers. Ensuring that if data is submitted outside the system it reconciles to data keyed by reviewing and comparing control totals and resolving discrepancies as needed. Assisting with various team projects. Troubleshooting and fixing issues with time and labor and time off accruals. Preparing reports by compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and nontaxable wages. Follow payroll operations policies and procedures Protect confidential data. Back up the Payroll Distribution team as needed. Qualified candidates will possess: 2 - 4 years as a payroll professional preferably with multi-state locations Associate Degree or higher and/or CPP certification would be a plus Quality service orientation Strong focus on customer satisfaction and detail Demonstrated ability in problem-solving Ability to meet deadlines under pressure Flexibility to work in a team environment, as well as, individually Experience with HCM systems (ADP, Paychex, iSolved, etc.) Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Excellent verbal and written communication skills
